Our company began in the workshop of our founder, Richard Loupe’, back in the early 1950’s in Long Beach, California.  Having a background in electrical engineering and the desire to create, he gathered a group of like-minded friends and colleagues to design engine starting motors and alternators.  This was just the beginning.  Now, after more than 50 years, and a move to our current location in Anaheim, California, our small family business is worldwide, and we have kept our niche in the oil and gas industry going strong.

U.S. Energy Explosion Proof AC & DC Engine Starter Systems, originally developed for oil field pumping engines, now has grown to meet the unique requirements of a wide variety of diesel and gas engines and gas turbines, with application in the field of power generation, pipe line pumping, marine engines, refinery & petro-chemical plants, oil & gas compressors, offshore platforms, fire pumps and more.
